FOR ADMISSION
Admission to SACRED HEART MATRIC. HR.SEC. SCHOOL, Chennai, is opened to all children fromStandard 1 to 9 and 11, irrespective of caste, creed, race, religion or gender. The application form can be obtained from the schooloffice. However, Admission is granted based on the Vacancies that may occur during the academic year.
I. Eligibility for Admission
To be eligible for admission in Class I, the child must have completed 5 years by 31st May. In all other Classes, the candidate must qualify in the entrance test and satisfy the norms specified by the school management committee.
II. Documents Required
a) Birth Certificate
b) Transfer Certificate from previous school.
c) A copy of Aadhar / Ration Card / Passport.
d) Community Certificate.
e) A copy of progress report from the school last studied.
f) Duly filled application form with two passport size photos.
g) Students seeking admission from other states or countries should produce Transfer Certificate counter signed by competent Educational authorities /Embassies of the country.
a) There will be Three Mid-Term Examinations, other than Quarterly, Half Yearly and Annual Examinations.
b) At the end of every lesson, there will be a unit test during zero period.
c) Please refer to the calender section for the dates of each examination and the dates on which progress reports are issued to the students.
Each termly examination will be based on portions taught till that examination from the beginning of the term.
